We are glad that you have stopped by our web page and we look forward to getting to know you better!
A little bit about us:
We are a congregation that values the gifts that God has given to each person and we understand that all of us (no matter how old or young we might be) have things to offer to God, to our community and to the ministry that we do here.
We are committed to helping our neighbors and provide many ways for people to participate in special projects and take part in numerous collections for worthy causes throughout the year.
Worship is at the heart of what we do and each week we offer a mix of songs of praise and old-fashioned hymns. We learn from God’s Word and we lift one another up in prayer.
We enjoy gathering with one another in whatever ways we can – masked up, fist-bumping, social distancing – we find it all worth it as we try to keep one another safe during these strange times.
We welcome all! No one here is perfect, but we try our best to follow the ways of Jesus who commands us to love the Lord and to love our neighbors. No one among us has all of the answers to life. Some of us have been Lutherans for a long time, and some are newer to our grace-filled ways. Some have gray hair and some run around with the abundant energy of children. Some are wondering where they fit in and some have found niches in ministries that have profound impacts on their lives. Some know who they are, and whose they are, and others are wondering. But everyone is important and welcomed!
Here at Holy Cross, there is a place for you!
